Wealthy Ted is a free educational project that helps people in Canada understand their pay, their savings and their financial goals.
What we offer
Simple, bilingual calculators: take-home pay and income tax, TFSA, RRSP and FHSA room, budget, emergency fund, savings goals and compound interest.
Every official figure comes from a government publication, listed on the Sources page. For income tax we cover every province and territory.
What we are not
We are not a tax preparer, financial advisor, bank or government body. Our estimates do not replace your return, your CRA or Revenu Québec notices, or advice from a qualified professional.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA: keyboard navigation, visible focus, enough contrast, labelled fields with clear errors, layouts that work on small screens and with zoom, and results never shown by colour alone.
